The Cincinnati Reds have lost six straight games and are limping to the finish line of the regular season. On Friday, SP Anthony DeSclafani took the loss after allowing three runs in five innings of work. Eugenio Suarez connected on his 33rd home run as part of a three-hit evening for the Reds, who lost their 94th game.

The Reds will turn to twenty-six year old righty Michael Lorenzen (3-2 3.35 ERA) to make his third start of the season. Through 75 plus innings, Lorenzen has allowed just six home runs and owns a 1.39 WHIP.
