The Wednesday MLB schedule will get underway with a battle between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Cincinnati Reds from the Great American Ball Park. OF Tyler Naquin got the scoring started with a two-run blast in a losing effort for the Reds (24-29).

The Reds will counter with rookie right-hander Valdimir Gutierrez (0-1 1.80 ERA) on Wednesday. In his first start, Gutierrez allowed two hits and one run in five innings during a 1-0 road loss against Chicago.
