Josh Hader allowed two runs in the ninth inning, but managed to close the door on his 33rd save.

The Brewers will counter with twenty-six year old righty Zach Davies (9-7 3.77 ERA) on Monday. Milwaukee has won each of Davies’ last three starts and he has allowed four runs over his last 14 innings of work.

Milwaukee OF Christian Yelich will miss the rest of the season with a fractured right kneecap. Through 149 games, San Diego ranks 23rd in OPS and 24th in runs scored. For the season, Milwaukee ranks 12th in OPS and 20th in runs scored. Take the Padres to score an upset in the series opener. Final Score Prediction, San Diego Padres win 5-3.
