Alex Cobb pitched well for the Orioles in the win allowing two hits and one run over six innings and is now 2-7 on the season. The Orioles scored both runs in the first inning.
Toronto was beaten on Tuesday 7-2 by the New York Yankees in its last outing. Toronto pitchers gave up all seven runs on a pair of home runs to the Yankees. Toronto’s two runs were on solo home runs off the bats of Teoscar Hernandez and Kevin Pillar.
