The Oakland Athletics will continue a road trip Wednesday night in Arlington, TX for game three of three against the Texas Rangers. Oakland comes into Wednesday 30 games below .500 on the year after losing four of the last five games played including a 10-8 lost to Texas in game one of this series. The Texas bullpen faltered however allowing six runs on six hits across the final four innings but secured the victory.

Offensively Texas did just enough with nine hits in 33 at bats including four hits with runners in scoring position. Josh Smith and Leody Tavares led the way for Texas driving in three runs apiece. Corey Seager added a solo homerun to drive in 1 run as well.
