SP Marco Gonzales (10-5) allowed one run across seven solid innings to earn the win for the Mariners (86-70).

The Mariners will turn to twenty-seven year old righty Chris Flezen (13-6 3.56 ERA) in the series opener. Seattle has won three of Flexen’s last four starts and he has allowed ten runs over his last 23 plus frames.
