The New York Yankees will be at TD Ballpark Tuesday afternoon for a spring training match up against the Toronto Blue Jays. New York comes into Tuesday afternoon a 5-2 win over the Philadelphia Phillies giving the Yankees their first win of the spring. Jameson Taillon got the start and win for New York giving up one hit and no runs in two innings of work. The Yankees bullpen combined to throw seven innings allowing four hits and two runs to close out the victory.
As a team New York was mediocre from the plate compiling only seven total hits to score five runs. Giancarlo Stanton was the motor within the Yankees offense going 1-1 on the day to drive in two of the Yankees five runs. Aaron Hicks and Phillip Evans chipped into the New York offense driving in one round of peace.

Alex Manoah got the start for Toronto giving up one run on two hits and two innings of work resulting in a no decision. Nate Pearson came on in relief to pick up the win giving up no runs and no hits before the Toronto Blue Jays closed the game with five straight shutout innings.
