The Rogers Centre will play host to a Sunday afternoon MLB clash between the Washington Nationals and Toronto Blue Jays. On Saturday, the Nationals managed just three hits during a 2-0 loss against the Blue Jays. SP Max Scherzer (10-3) struck out 10 batters over six frames and dropped his second straight start for the first time since 2015.

Thirty-one year old righty Tanner Roark (3-7 3.63 ERA) will take the mound for the Nationals in this matchup. Through 84 plus innings, Roark has fanned 70 batters and owns a solid 1.11 WHIP. The Toronto Blue Jays have won the first two games of this series by a margin of three runs total. On Saturday, SP Marco Estrada (4-6) fanned four batters over six plus scoreless innings to outduel Scherzer.
