The 89th MLB All-Star Game will return to the nation's capital, when the AL All-Stars look to continue their dominance over the NL All-Stars. Washington will host the game for the first time since 1969, when they were the Senators.

The National League All-Stars have heard plenty about the American League's dominance over the last three decades and will be determined to turn things around. Washington OF Bryce Harper has struggled with a .214 average, but still has managed to deliver 23 home runs and 54 RBIs. Chicago 2B Javier Baez leads the league with 72 RBIs and is quietly putting together an MVP caliber season.

Washington SP Max Scherzer (12-5 2.41 ERA) will oppose Sale for the second straight All-Star Game. Scherzer leads the league in wins, innings, strikeouts, and WHIP.
