The Monday MLB schedule will get underway with a matinee between the Minnesota Twins and the Cleveland Guardians from Progressive Field. The Twins (73-73) have dropped 41 of their 71 road games and trail AL Central Division leading Cleveland by six full games. On Sunday, Minnesota SP Joe Ryan fired seven plus shutout frames during a 3-0 road victory against Minnesota.

Minnesota SS Jorge Polanco (knee) experienced a setback during his rehab assignment and could miss the rest of the season. Through 146 games, Minnesota ranks 11th in OPS and 16th in runs scored.
