In Saturday afternoon MLB action, the Miami Marlins and the Washington Nationals will continue their weekend series from the nation’s capital. The Marlins (35-40) have dropped 24 of their first 40 road games and are 12 games off the pace in the NL East Division race. Last night, Miami 3B Brian Anderson homered and drove in a pair of runs during a 6-3 road victory.

Twenty-seven year old southpaw Daniel Castano (0-1 2.57 ERA) will make his fourth start of the season for the Marlins. Last time out, Castano allowed two runs in seven innings during a 3-2 home victory versus New York.

The Washington Nationals have list 28 of their first 42 home games and are stuck in the NL East Division basement. On Friday, Washington SP Josiah Gray (6-5) was tagged for six runs in five plus innings and took the loss. C Keibert Ruiz connected on a two-run blast in a losing effort for the Nationals, who fell to 29-50 on the season.

Rookie right-hander Jackson Tetreault (2-1 4.24 ERA) will make his fourth career major league start for the Nationals. Through 17 innings, Tetreault has surrendered three long balls and owns a subpar 1.41 WHIP.
