New York is 41-23 following its 10-2 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday. New York managed only five hits against three Milwaukee pitchers and the Mets committed two errors. David Peterson suffered the loss after allowing four runs across four innings. New York is first in the NL West, four games ahead of the red-hot Atlanta Braves.
