Nationals Park will play host to a Wednesday afternoon MLB clash between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Washington Nationals. The Dodgers (29-13) have won nine of their last ten games and own the best overall record in the National League. Last night, OF Mookie Betts homered twice and drove in four runs to power Los Angeles to a 9-4 road triumph against Washington.

Twenty-five year old southpaw Julio Urias (3-3 2.63 ERA) will head to the hill for the Dodgers in this contest. Last time out, Urias fired five shutout frames and allowed just two hits during a 4-1 road victory against Philadelphia.

The Washington Nationals have dropped 17 of their first 22 home games and are stuck in the NL East Division basement. During Tuesday's home loss, Washington went 2-for-12 with runners in scoring position and left nine men on base. Veteran DH Nelson Cruz collected three hits and drove in a pair of runs for the Nationals (14-30).

The Nationals will give the nod to twenty-nine year old righty Erick Fedde (2-3 4.08 ERA) in the series finale. Control has been an issue for Fedde, who has walked 21 batters across 39 plus frames.

Los Angeles OF Cody Bellinger missed Tuesday’s game with an illness and is listed as day-to-day. Through 42 games, Los Angeles ranks 1st in OPS and 1st in runs scored. For the season, Washington ranks 20th in OPS and 20th in runs scored. Take the under. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Dodgers win 4-2.
