The Los Angeles Dodgers will look to advance to the NLCS when they battle the San Diego Padres from Globe Life Field on Thursday night. In Game Two, Cody Bellinger homered and took away a two-run blast to lead Los Angeles to a 6-5 victory. SP Clayton Kershaw (2-0) gave up three runs in six innings to earn the win for the Dodgers.

Los Angeles skipper Dave Roberts has yet to announce a starting pitcher for this contest. The Dodgers led the major league with a 3.02 team ERA and posted a 1.06 WHIP.

The San Diego Padres were so close to drawing even in this best-of-five NLDS, but SS Fernando Tatis was robbed of a two-run blast in the seventh inning. Eric Hosmer and Manny Machado each went deep in the sixth inning to pull the Padres within a run at 4-3. San Diego railled to score two runs in the ninth inning, but Hosmer grounded out to second base with the bases loaded to end the game.

San Diego manager Jayce Tingler has yet to name a starting pitcher for Game Two. The Padres ranked eighth during the regular season with a 3.86 team ERA and lagged 22 quality starts.

San Diego SP Dinelson Lamet (biceps) has been left off the NLDS roster and hopes to be available next series. For the regular season, San Diego ranked 4th in OPS and 3rd in runs scored. Los Angeles counters with an offense that ranked 2nd in OPS and 1st in runs scored. The Dodgers will sweep the Padres in a game that stays under the total. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Dodgers Win 4-2.
