LA Dodgers vs Atlanta Braves 10/15/20 - MLB Picks & Predictions

Globe Life Field will play host to Game Four of the NLCS between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves on Thursday night. Last night, Los Angeles exploded for a postseason record 11 runs in the first inning and cruised to a 15-3 victory. Max Muncy’s grand slam put the Dodgers up 11-0. SP Julio Urias allowed one run across five solid frames to earn the win.

Three-time Cy Young Award winner Clayton Kershaw (6-2 2.16 ERA) is a likely possibility to start for the Dodgers on Thursday. Kershaw, who was scratched from Game Two with back spasms, posted a ridiculous 0.84 WHIP during the regular season.

The Atlanta Braves allowed just six runs over their first six postseason games, but have now surrendered 22 runs over the last two days. In Game Three, Atlanta SP Kyle Wright gave up seven runs and recorded just two outs. Christian Pache hit a solo shot for the Braves, who lead this best-of-seven series 2-1.

Twenty-two year old righty Bryse Wilson (1-0 4.02 ERA) will take the mound for the Braves in this matchup. Control has been an issue for Wilson, who has walked 25 batters and surrendered 28 earned runs in just 42 plus career major league innings.

Atlanta OF Adam Duvall was forced out of Game One with a left oblique strain and he will miss the remainder of the postseason. For the regular season, Atlanta ranked 1st in OPS and 2nd in runs scored. Los Angeles features an offense that ranked 2nd in OPS and 1st in runs scored. Ride the red-hot Dodgers to even this series at two games apiece. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Dodgers win 6-3.
