Last Updated: 08/06/2020 at 10:27 AM ET

In Thursday afternoon MLB action, the Los Angeles Angels and the Seattle Mariners will wrap up their three-game series from T-Mobile Park. Last night, Los Angeles rallied for three runs in the eighth inning before falling by a 7-6 final score. OF Mike Trout homered twice and drove in four runs for the Angels, who have lost eight of their first 12 games.

Talented right-hander Dylan Bundy (1-1 2.84 ERA) will make his third start as a member of the Angels. Bundy, who started his career with Baltimore, has given up seven hits and struck out 15 batters in 12 plus innings.

The Seattle Mariners have dropped eight of their first 13 games and are unlikely to compete in the AL West Division this season. On Wednesday, Seattle SP Marco Gonzalez (2-1) struck out seven batters and allowed three runs in seven innings to earn the victory. 3B Kyle Seager went deep and drove in three runs to supply the offense for the Mariners.

Hard-throwing righty Taijuan Walker (1-1 4.35 ERA) will head to the hill for the Mariners on Thursday. Last time out, Walker allowed one run and struck out eight batters across seven shutout frames during a 5-3 victory versus Oakland.

Los Angeles SS Andrelton Simmons has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a left ankle sprain. Through 12 games, Los Angeles ranks 18th in OPS and 10th in runs scored. Seattle counters with an offense that ranks 21st in OPS and 14th in runs scored. Too much juice to take the Angels so instead take the under on Thursday. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Angels win in easy under game 3-2.
