KT Wiz at Kiwoom Heroes 10/17/22 - KBO League Picks & Predictions

The semi-playoffs kicked off on Sunday morning and seen the Kiwoom Heroes pick up the home win. The game was not really even close with a final score of 8-4 with the Heroes putting on a dominating offensive performance. 

In the losing effort the Wiz did not even tie the game up until the top of the 8th. In the bottom of the 8th, though, the Wiz seen Kim Min-su and Kim Jae-yoon who allowed a combined 4 runs in the bottom of the 8th leading to the loss. KT ended up getting a total of 8 hits, but the Heroes were able to get a total of 12 hits. 

Starting the game on Monday for the Wiz is slated to be Wes Benjamin. During the 2022 season Benjamin started in 17 games and threw only 96 2/3 innings while striking out 77 batters and walked 24. Benjamin did finish the year out with a 5-4 record and a 2.70 ERA.

Eric Jokisch is slated to start the game for the Heroes. The 33 year old left hander threw a total of 185 1/3 innings in 30 starts for the Heroes. Jokisch struck out 154 batters while walking 33, but finished the season with a 10-8 record and a 2.57 ERA.
