Beautiful Camden Yards will play host to a Sunday afternoon MLB matchup between the Kansas City Royals and the Baltimore Orioles. The Royals (8-15) have dropped six of their first eight road games and are 6.5 games off the pace in the AL Central Division race. On Wednesday, Kansas City managed just four hits during a 10-0 home loss versus St. Louis.

Twenty-five year old righty Daniel Lynch (2-1 3.86 ERA) will head to the hill for the Royals in this contest. In his last start, Lynch gave up three runs in five innings during a 6-4 home loss versus New York.

The Baltimore Orioles are a game above .500 at home and are in fourth place int he AL East Division standings. On Thursday, Austin Hays and Ryan Mountcastle hit back-to-back solo shots in the eighth inning to lift Baltimore to a 5-3 home victory versus Minnesota. Cedric Mullins and Jorge Mateo also went deep for the Orioles, who improved to 10-16 overall. 

Rookie right-hander Tyler Wells (0-2 4.50 ERA) will make his sixth career major league start. Baltimore has dropped Wells’ last four starts and he has allowed just five runs over his last 16 plus frames.
