Kansas City Royals at Baltimore Orioles 5/6/22 - MLB Picks & Predictions

In Friday night MLB action, the Kansas City Royals will travel to beautiful Camden Yards to take on the Baltimore Orioles. The Royals (8-15) have lost six of their first eight road games and are sitting in last place in the AL Central Division. On Wednesday, Kansas City managed just four hits during a 10-0 home loss versus St. Louis.

The Baltimore Orioles are a game above .500 at home and are tied with Boston in the AL East Division basement. Last night,  Austin Hays and Ryan Mountcastle hit back-to-back solo shots in the eighth inning to lift Baltimore to a 5-3 home victory versus Minnesota. Cedric Mullins and Jorge Mateo also went deep for the Orioles, who improved to 10-16 overall. 

The Orioles will counter with thirty-one year old righty Jordan Lyles (2-2 4.50 ERA) on Friday. Last time out, Lyles allowed one run in six innings during a 9-5 home victory versus Boston.
