In Saturday afternoon MLB action, the Cleveland Indians and Baltimore Orioles will continue their weekend series from Camden Yards. Last night, Cleveland managed just six hits and struck out eight times during a 13-0 defeat. SP Mike Clevinger recorded five outs and was rocked for seven runs for the Indians, who are 8.5 games out of first place.

Rookie right-hander Zach Plesac (3-2 2.33 ERA) will make his sixth career major league start for the Indians. Through 38 plus innings, Plesac has struck out 28 batters and owns a spectacular 0.96 WHIP. The Baltimore Orioles have had little to celebrate for rookie manager Brandon Hyde and are a major league worst 35 games below .500 overall. On Friday, Baltimore exploded for eight runs in the first two innings and used a 16-hit attack to cruise to victory. Chance Sisco had three hits and drove in five runs for the Orioles in support of winning pitcher John Means.

The Orioles will counter with thirty-two year old righty Andrew Cashner (7-3 4.37 ERA) on Saturday. In his last start, Cashner allowed five hits and two runs in six innings during an 8-4 road triumph against Seattle.

Cleveland SP Corey Kluber (arm) will go through a series of MRIs and could be cleared to resume a throwing program. Through 81 games, Cleveland ranks 21st in OPS and 22nd in runs scored. For the season, Baltimore ranks 26th in OPS and 27th in runs scored. Take the Indians to bounce back with a win on Saturday. Final Score Prediction, Cleveland Indians win 6-4.
