Cleveland Indians vs. San Francisco Giants

Latest Odds : CLE -120 Total 8.5
Just as Cleveland was looking in control with the lead in the American League Central, the Indians dropped games against Detroit and Oakland to narrow their lead over the Twins and Royals. It may just be a race to the end in that division.
On Monday against San Francisco, Josh Tomlin (5-9, 5.90 ERA) will take the ball for Cleveland. He'll want to put the first half of the season behind him, as he closed it out with just one quality start in his last six outings. Tomlin is allowing opponents to hit .315 against him this season.
Jose Ramirez came rolling into the All-Star Game and had two hits in Miami. In June, Ramirez notched 40 hits and had a .367 batting average. He's followed that up by hitting .395 in July thus far. He has an incredible 1.036 OPS against right-handed pitching.
San Francisco's goal is just to grind out the rest of the season. It's been a rough year for the Giants, but perhaps a silver lining was Madison Bumgarner's return and solid outing on Saturday.
The starter on Monday will be Matt Moore (3-9, 6.04 ERA), who hasn't bolstered the San Francisco staff like was expected. His ERA is over 7.50 in his last seven starts.
Buster Posey is continuing to have an excellent year at the plate despite his team's woes. Posey is hitting .325 with 11 home runs and 37 RBI. He hit .330 or better in April, May and June.
