The World Series will shift to Truist Park on Friday night, when the Houston Astros and the Atlanta Braves square off in Game Three. On Wednesday, All-Star 2B Jose Altuve homered and scored a pair of runs to spark Houston a 7-2 home victory. SP Jose Urquidy (1-0) struck out seven batters and allowed two runs in five innings to earn the win for the Astros.

Twenty-four year old righty Luis Garcia (11-8 3.30 ERA) will take the mound for the Astros in this matchup. In three starts this postseason, Garcia has been tagged for ten runs and struck out 12 batters across nine plus frames.

The Atlanta Braves stole the World Series opener on the road and have won five straight home games to start the postseason. In Game Two, Atlanta SP Max Fried gave up six runs in five innings and took the  loss. C Travis d’Arnaud homered and scored both runs in a losing effort for the Braves.

The Braves will counter with talented right-hander Ian Anderson (9-5 3.58 ERA) on Friday. In three starts during the playoffs, Anderson has allowed three runs and fanned 12 batters through 12 innings of work.

Atlanta SP Charlie Morton suffered a fractured right fibula in Game One and is expected to be ready for spring training. Through 162 games, Houston ranked 2nd in OPS and 1st in runs scored.
