In the first game of a Monday day-night doubleheader, the San Francisco Giants will take on the Colorado Rockies from Coors Field. The Rockies will counter with twenty-four year old righty German Marquez (8-4 4.45 ERA) on Monday. Colorado has lost Marquez’s last two starts and he has given up eight runs over his last 12 innings.

Colorado 2B Brendan Rodgers has landed on the 10-day injured list with a right shoulder impingement. Through 92 games, San Francisco ranks 28th in OPS and 27th in runs scored.
