Juan Soto started the Nationals off right with a two-run first inning blast.

The Nationals will turn to three-time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (11-7 2.92 ERA) in Game Four. Scherzer ranked third in the National League with 243 strikeouts and fourth with a 1.03 WHIP.

Los Angeles 1B Tyler White (back) will miss the entire postseason. Through 162 regular season games, Los Angeles ranked 4th in OPS and 5th in runs scored. For the season, Washington ranked 5th in OPS and 6th in runs scored. Take the Nationals to get the job done behind a solid performance from Scherzer.
