AT&T Park will play host to a Saturday afternoon NL West clash between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants. Last night, Enrique Hernandez had three hits and scored twice to spark Los Angeles to a 3-1 victory. The Dodgers are a game behind Colorado for first place and lead St. Louis by two games for the final NL Wild Card spot.

Three time Cy Young Award winner Clayton Kershaw (9-5 2.53 ERA) will head to the hill for the Dodgers in this matchup. Los Angeles has won each of Kershaw’s last seven starts and he has given up 14 runs over that stretch. The San Francisco Giants are five games above .500 at home, but have been dismal on the road this season. On Friday, Nick Hundley provided the only offense for San Francisco with his 10th home run. SP Madison Bumgarner gave up three runs in six innings and took the loss for the Giants, who fell to 14 games below .500 overall.

Rookie right-hander Derek Rodriguez (6-4 2.50 ERA) will make his 19th career major league start for the Giants. San Francisco has lost six straight games started by Rodriguez and he has allowed 12 runs total during that skid.

San Francisco 1B Brandon Belt is dealing with a knee injury that could require surgery. Through 160 games, Los Angeles ranks 17th in batting average and 6th in runs scored. For the season, San Francisco ranks 23rd in batting average and 29th in runs scored. Look for Los Angeles to clinch a playoff spot with a low-scoring win on Saturday. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2.
