Last Updated: 08/07/2019 at 7:39 AM ET

In Saturday afternoon MLB action, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers will play Game Two of the NLCS from Miller Park. Last night, SP Clayton Kershaw was rocked for five runs in just three innings during a 6-5 defeat. Manny Machado homered and drove in three runs in a losing effort for the Dodgers.

Thirty-one year old southpaw Hyun-Jin Ryu (7-3 1.97 ERA) will take the mound for the Dodgers in this matchup. Ryu got the Dodgers off to an amazing start this postseason by striking out eight batters in seven scoreless innings during a 6-0 victory versus Atlanta in Game One of the NLDS. The Milwaukee Brewers have won 12 straight games and need just seven more victories to win their first World Series title in franchise history. On Friday, Milwaukee’s offense got a surprise boost when relief pitcher Brandon Woodruff homered off Kershaw in the third inning. Jesus Aguilar added a solo shot of his own in the seventh inning for the Brewers.

The Brewers will counter with thirty-one year old lefty Wade Miley (5-2 2.57 ERA) on Saturday. Through 80 plus innings during the regular season, Miley allowed just three home runs and posted a 1.21 WHIP.

Milwaukee C Stephen Vogt (shoulder) said that he hopes to play in 2019.. Through 162 regular season games, Los Angeles ranked 14th in batting average and 5th in runs scored. For the season, Milwaukee ranked 12th in batting average and 12th in runs scored. Look for Los Angeles to clean up their sloppy play and rebound with a win on Saturday. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Dodgers win 5-3.
