The Milwaukee Brewers have won 12 straight games and need just seven more victories to win their first World Series title in franchise history. On Friday, Milwaukee’s offense got a surprise boost when relief pitcher Brandon Woodruff homered off Kershaw in the third inning. Jesus Aguilar added a solo shot of his own in the seventh inning for the Brewers.

The Brewers will counter with thirty-one year old lefty Wade Miley (5-2 2.57 ERA) on Saturday. Through 80 plus innings during the regular season, Miley allowed just three home runs and posted a 1.21 WHIP.
