The National League Championship Series will get underway on Friday night, when the Los Angeles Dodgers visit the Milwaukee Brewers. The Dodgers won the NL West Division title for the sixth straight time and disposed of Atlanta in four games during the NLDS. All-Star OF Matt Kemp led Los Angeles with a .290 batting average and 85 runs batted in during the regular season.

The Dodgers will counter with three-time Cy Young Award winner Clayton Kershaw (9-5 2.73 ERA) on Friday. Through 161 plus innings, Kershaw fanned 155 batters and owns a stellar 1.04 WHIP.
The Milwaukee Brewers won eight straight games to finish the regular season and swept through Colorado in three games during the NLDS. The Brewers did it with a dominant pitching staff that limited the Rockies to just two runs total. NL MVP candidate Christian Yelich led Milwaukee in all three triple crown categories and has remained sizzling this so far this postseason.

Milwaukee manager Craig Counsell has not named a starting pitcher for this matchup and could opt to use a reliever as an opener. The Brewers have one of the best bullpens in the majors and rank 5th with a 3.73 team ERA.

Milwaukee C Stephen Vogt (shoulder) said that he hopes to play in 2019.. Through 162 regular season games, Los Angeles ranked 14th in batting average and 5th in runs scored. For the season, Milwaukee ranked 12th in batting average and 12th in runs scored. Getting Kershaw at this price is a great value even against a red-hot Milwaukee squad. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Dodgers win 4-2.
