The Colorado Rockies open a three-game series on the road Tuesday in South Florida against the Miami Marlins. Colorado is 24-36 following a 3-1 victory over the Oakland Athletics on Sunday. Colorado avoided the sweep in the three-game interleague series with the victory on Sunday after losing each of the first two games. Colorado is fourth in the National League West 13 ½ games behind the first-place San Francisco Giants.
