The Kansas City Royals struggled from the plate in their last game combining for a total of six hits on the day including 0-12 with runners in scoring position to leave 10 men on base. Adalberto Mondesi and Michael Taylor led the way for the Kansas City offense driving in one run each.

The Kansas City bullpen struggled giving up one run on two hits before Earvin Santana came on in the final inning of the game giving up two runs on two hits leading to the Kansas City loss.
