AL Central Division rivals will square off on Wednesday night, when the Chicago White Sox and the Cleveland Indians wrap up their series from Progressive Field. Last night, Chicago SP Dylan Cease (3-2) gave up six runs in three plus innings during a 6-5 road loss. Jake Lamb had two hits and scored a pair of runs for the White Sox (33-22).

Thirty-four year old righty Lance Lynn (6-1 1.37 ERA) will take the mound for the White Sox in this matchup. Last time out, Lynn fanned seven batters across five shutout frames during a 3-1 home victory versus Baltimore.

The Cleveland Indians are two games above .500 at home and trail Chicago by 2.5 games for first place. On Tuesday, C Austin Hedges broke a 3-3 tie with a two-run blast in the third inning. SP Shane Bieber (6-3) allowed three runs (2 ER) in seven solid innings to earn the win for the Indians, who improved to 30-24 on the season.

The Indians will turn to rookie right-hander Eli Morgan (0-1 20.25 ERA) on Wednesday. In his first career major league start, Morgan was tagged for six runs and recorded just eight outs during an 11-2 home loss versus Toronto.

Cleveland OF Franmil Reyes is currently on the 10-day injured list with an internal oblique strain. Through 55 games, Chicago ranks 6th in OPS and 5th in runs scored.
