Philadelphia is six games above .500 overall and 3,5 games behind first place Atlanta.
Philadelphia skipper Gabe Kapler will turn to right-hander Vince Velasquez (5-7 4.74 ERA) on Tuesday. In his last start, Velasquez allowed two runs over six plus frames during a 9-3 victory versus Colorado.
