On Monday, Aaron Altherr came through with a two-run walkoff double past a diving Marcell Ozuna to give the Phillies the win. Philadelphia is six games above .500 overall and 3,5 games behind first place Atlanta.
Philadelphia skipper Gabe Kapler will turn to right-hander Vince Velasquez (5-7 4.74 ERA) on Tuesday. In his last start, Velasquez allowed two runs over six plus frames during a 9-3 victory versus Colorado.
