The Cardinals are coming into this game after losing the opening game against the Brewers by a score of 5-4. However, the Cardinals did look impressive in the loss and actually gave the Brewers a run for their money in the loss, which was more than what the Brewers were expecting as the Cardinals were one of those teams that had been all over the place in spring training. Something that was surprising was the way that Kolten Wong stepped up in the game with 2 homers and 3 runs driven in.

Dakota Hudson is the pitcher the Cardinals are going to hand the ball to for starting this game here. Hudson has been able to get a 4-1 record with 19 strikeouts and 18 walks, but also a 2.63 ERA in his career so far. The Brewers had some problems in spring training and that did not show up in this game here against the Cardinals. What else will help the Brewers out is the fact that the team has been able to look good and have a lot of the talent show up on the year and so far they have been able to play together as a team. Christian Yelich is the player who has been able to lead the Brewers when it comes to the run production as he has driven in 3 runs on the year.

Brandon Woodruff is the pitcher the Brewers are planning on handing the ball over to in this game. Woodruff has mainly been a reliever on the season so far. He has a 5-3 record, but has struck out 79 batters with 28 walks and a 4.22 ERA in his career.

Look for the Brewers pitching and hitting to work together in this game as the Brewers are able to bring home a win in the game as the Cardinals are unable to really provide Hudson with the run support that he deserves in this game. Final Score Prediction, Milwaukee Brewers win 5-3.
