The Thursday MLB schedule will get underway with a matchup between the Milwaukee Brewers and Cincinnati Reds from the Great American Ball Park. Last night, Erik Kratz came through with a two-run single in the tenth inning to lift Milwaukee to a wild 13-12 victory. Christian Yelich went six-fo-six and hit for the first Milwaukee cycle since 2011.

Thirty-one year old southpaw Wade Miley (2-2 2.32 ERA) will make his 11th start of the season for the Brewers. Miley is winless in his last four starts and has given up eight runs over his last 21 innings. The Cincinnati Reds took Tuesday’s series opener with Milwaukee and will have the chance to play spoiler down the stretch in the NL Central Division race. Cincinnati 1B Joey Votto (leg) did sliding drills on Tuesday and hopes to be activated soon. Through 134 games, Milwaukee ranks 14th in batting average and 16th in runs scored. For the season, Cincinnati ranks 5th in batting average and 14th in runs scored. Take the Brewers to win the rubber game and stay in possession of the second NL Wild Card spot.
