The Atlanta Braves will look to continue their winning ways when they battle the San Diego Padres on Wednesday afternoon from Petco Park. Last night, Freddie Freeman had four hits and scored three runs during Atlanta’s 14-1 rout of San Diego. SP Sean Newcomb tossed six scoreless innings for the Braves, who lead Washington by a game for the NL East Division lead.

The San Diego Padres took the series opener by an 11-4 final score, but had their three-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday. SP Jordan Lyles was tagged for 11 hits and eight runs in just four plus innings for San Diego, who fell to seven games below .500 overall.
San Diego has yet to name a starting pitcher for the series finale. The Padres rank 17th in the majors with a 4.17 earned run average.
