Game One of the National League Division Series between the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers will take place on Friday night from Dodger Stadium. The Braves won 90 games during the regular season and pulled away to win the NL East Division by eight games. All-Star 1B Freddie Freeman leads the club in batting average and RBIs, while rookie OF Ronald Acuna Jr. leads Atlanta with 26 home runs.

Hard-throwing righty Mike Foltynewicz (13-10 2.85 ERA) will get the nod for the Braves in this contest. In 15 starts on the road this season, Foltynewicz had an even better 2.48 ERA and limited opponents to a .199 batting average. The Los Angeles Dodgers swept San Francisco to close out the regular season and then defeated Colorado 5-2 in Game 163 to capture the NL West Division title. Rookie SP Walker Buehler tossed one-hit ball into the seventh inning to earn the win. Max Muncy and Cody Bellinger each went deep for the Dodgers, who won their sixth straight division title.

Thirty-one year old southpaw Hyun-Jin Ryu (7-3 1.97 ERA) will make his 16th start for the Dodgers this season. Through 82 plus innings, Ryu has fanned 89 batters and owns a solid 1.01 WHIP.

Atlanta SS Dansby Swanson (hand) is not expected to be on the NLDS roster. Through 162 games, Atlanta ranked 5th in batting average and 10th in runs scored. For the season, Los Angeles ranked 14th in batting average and 5th in runs scored. Take the Dodgers to jump out on top with a win on Thursday.
