The Houston Astros are rolling coming into this game having taken full control of this series with back to back wins in Boston. The Houston offense led the way in game five posting 11 hits including 6-15 as a team with runners in scoring position to drive in nine runs. Yordan Alvarez and Yuli Gurriel led the way for the Houston offense with three hits and three RBI’s a piece.

Framber Valdez carried the load for Houston on the mound giving up one run on three hits, while striking out five batters in eight complete innings resulting in the wind. Ryne Stanek Came on for an easy 9th inning giving up number runs on no hits to close out the game.

After being down bad in this series the Astros have stormed back with 2 consecutive blowout wins to take full control of this series.
