Best MLB Prop Bets - Thursday 8/4/22

Major League Baseball brings a loaded card of action on Thursday with 13 games on the board. With double digit games on the board, we have a wide variety of MLB props to choose from.

The top props we focus in on is for an MVP candidate to continue to lead his team and a NRFI in a pitcher dual out west.

LAD/San Francisco Under .5 1st Inning Runs (-127)

Paul Goldschmidt Over 2+ Bases (-135)

NRFI

The final game of the Dodgers and Giants series will see two elite pitchers on the mound. The Dodgers will send out Clayton Kershaw carrying a 7-3 record overall with a 2.66 ERA on the year. Look for Kershaw to dominate a lackluster SF lineup for much of the game, while posting a zero in the first inning on Thursday.

San Francisco will counter with Jake Junis to match up with Kershaw. Junis is pitching well this season 4-2 overall with a 2.78 ERA. Despite the Los Angeles Dodgers having one of the best lineups in baseball Los Angeles usually starts games slow giving Junis the 1st inning edge on Thursday.

Take the NRFI Thursday afternoon in San Francisco in a pitcher’s duel.

Pick: LAD/San Francisco Under .5 1st Inning Runs

Goldschmidt

Paul Goldschmidt is the favorite to win the National League MVP as he currently leads the St. Louis Cardinals in all offensive categories. Goldschmidt carries a .332 batting average on the year to go along with 25 home runs and 81 RBIs.

Goldschmidt bats in the heart of the St. Louis order and will see multiple at bats Thursday afternoon against a bad pitcher. Look for Goldschmidt to find success early and often as he will get on base multiple times to help his team get the win.

Take Paul Goldschmidt to go over 2+ bases on Thursday at home.

Pick: Paul Goldschmidt Over 2+ Bases
