On Saturday, the NC Dinos look to extend their lead atop The KBO standings with a second consecutive victory over the LG Twins. The visiting Dinos routed the Twins on Friday 12-2 for their eighth victory in their last 11 outings. In contrast, LG lost its seventh game in its last 11 and now trails the Dinos by 9 ½ games. By late Friday the Twins could tumble from fourth to sixth place. The Dinos continue to pound the ball as Jin Sung Kang has the fourth best average in the KBO at .353, while Sung Bum Na and Aaron Altherr are second and fifth respectively in home runs and Altherr is third in RBIs with 50. NC will continue to pound the ball against an LG pitching staff that is allowing 4.64 runs per game and easily win 9-2.

Doosan Bears vs Lotte Giants: Doosan -  ; O/U

The third place Doosan Bears look for their third consecutive victory on Saturday when visiting the eighth place Lotte Giants. The Bears defeated the Giants on Friday 10-5 to remain in third place 5 ½  games behind the NC Dinos. The ball should be flying off the bats of both Doosan and Lotte on Saturday. Doosan’s starting pitcher Hui Kwan Yu has an ERA of 4.89, while Lotte’s starter Se Woong Park enters this matchup with an ERA of 5.71. In the first game of the series, the two combined for 15 runs and the odds are that that total will be equaled or surpassed Saturday with mediocre starting pitchers on the mound for both. Doosan wins 12-5 but the OVER is the play.
