Hopefully, you have been tailing because we are HOT in the KBO. Who says we need American Sports to get our sports betting fix in when there is so much value to be had in the KBO?! Well anyway, let’s get into the best bets for the July 9th for the KBO:

NC Dinos vs SK Wyverns: NCD -167 ; O/U 10

After a disappointing 3-2 loss last night, the Dinos dropped to 37-17 on the season still four games clear of the second-place Kiwooom Heroes. The SK Wyverns win moved them to 17-38, still 20.5 games back of the DInos.

With a struggling pitcher on the mound for the Dinos with Choi Sung-young who is 0-1 on the season with a 5.70 ERA and has allowed 6 homeruns and walked 8 batters in just 23 ⅔ innings. Sung-young has struck out just 9 batters in that time. For the SK Wyverns taking the hill will be Ricardo Pinto who is 4-4 on the season with a 4.26 ERA but has struggled in his last three starts, allowing 10 runs in just 14 innings of work and getting hit with two losses.

With both offenses seemingly taking a night off last night, combined with two pitchers struggling. I think the offenses explode in this one, specifically the leagues best Dinos who are hitting .291 as a team and have scored the most runs in the KBO this season. Take the OVER of 10 runs. (If you’re not afraid of laying the juice I also think the Dinos bounce back here with a win at -167)

Samsung Lions vs Kiwoom Heroes : KH -125 ; O/U 10.5

The Heroes edged out a 7-6 victory over the Lions yesterday to improve their record on the season to 34-22, closing the gap between the Dinos to just 4 games from the top spot. The Lions fell to 30-26 on the season and sit in fifth place in the KBO standings.

The Heroes have their ace going today, with Eric Jokisch getting the nod. Jokisch is 7-2 on the season with an impressive 1.30 ERA. In fact, Jokisch has allowed just one earned run in his last three starts combined.

The Lions will have Baek Jung-hyun taking the hill who is 4-3 with a 5.23 ERA on the year. The KBO vet Jung-hyun got off to a rocky start this season, losing his first three starts but has been red hot as of late winning four of his last five and allowing just 10 runs over 28 innings of work.

The Lions have really struggled on the offensive end, hitting just .269 as a team which ranks 8th in the KBO. The Heroes are batting .272 as a team but rank second in the KBO in home runs with 62 this season.

This number just seems too low for the Heroes with their ace on the mound. Take the Heroes as a small -125 favorite.
