The Korean Baseball Organization regular season is winding its way to a conclusion with just an average of between 15 to 18 games remaining for each of the 10 teams. The NC Dinos continue to hold a firm grip on first place with a seven-game lead over the KT Wiz. However, the battle for second place has four teams within three games of one another. The KT Wiz look to strengthen their hold on second place on Saturday when they host the Doosan Bears while the third place Kiwoom Heroes looks to inch closer to KT with a victory on Saturday over the last place Hanwha Eagles.

Doosan Bears at KT Wiz: KT -130 ; O/U 10.5

The KT Wiz have won two of their last three and lead the third place Kiwoom Heroes by one game and the fourth-place LG Twins by two games. KT is coming off a 4-0 loss on Friday to the Doosan Bears and looks to bounce back with victory when facing the Bears again on Saturday. KT will send William Cuevas to the mound. The right hander is 10-6 with an ERA of 3.94. In his last appearance against Doosan, Cuevas pitched eight innings allowing just six hits and no runs while striking out four to earn the victory. Doosan will counter with Duk Joo Ham to face KT. The left hander is 5-1 with an ERA of 3.74. This will be the first time this season that Ham has faced KT. Both pitchers have had success on the mound and therefore expect a low-scoring victory for KT but the play on Saturday is the UNDER 4-2.

Kiwoom Heroes at Hanwha Eagles: Kiwoom -330 ; O/U 9.5

The Kiwoom Heroes were defeated by the last place Hanwha Eagles on Friday 7-6 and look to bounce back with a victory on Saturday. The Heroes have struggled of late losing eight of the last 11 and are now tied for third with the LG Twins. Hanwha is in last place in the 10-team KBO but has won three straight, six of its last 10 and is now tied with SK Wyverns but trails on percentage points to the Wyverns. Kiwoom has dropped to seventh place in team batting average at .272, but remains in second place in team ERA at 4.46. However, the batting woes for Kiwoom have created problems when the pitching staff cannot prevent opposing teams from scoring. Kiwoom will bounce back with a victory on Saturday as they will be facing Joo Hong Park, who is 0-3 with an ERA of 9.54 and the Heroes will have  Jake Brigham on the mound who is 8-5 with an ERA of 3.97. Kiwoom wins  big on Saturday 9-3.
