The Los Angeles Dodgers won a major league best 43 games during the regular season and are the favorites to win the World Series. The Dodgers have won five straight games to start the postseason by a 30-11 combined score. SS Corey Seager led Los Angeles with a .307 batting average and 43 RBIs.

Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts will give the nod to talented right-hander Walker Buehler (1-0 3.44 ERA) in Game One. In the NLDS, Buehler allowed one run and struck out eight batters in four innings during a 5-1 victory versus San Diego.

Atlanta SP Cole Hamels is dealing with left shoulder fatigue and will not pitch in this series. For the regular season, Atlanta ranked 1st in OPS and 2nd in runs scored.
