On Tuesday, OF Mookie Betts sparked the Los Angeles offense by reaching base three times and scoring a pair of runs. SP Walker Buehler allowed two runs across seven solid innings and did not factor in the decision for the Dodgers (84-49).
Three time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (12-4 2.51 ERA) will get the nod for the Dodgers in the series finale. Los Angeles has won each of Scherzer’s first five starts and he has allowed just five runs over his last 29 frames.
