The Atlanta Braves will be at Minute Maid Park Wednesday night for game two of the World Series against the Houston Astros. The Braves come into game two with a one game lead in the series following a 6-2 when on Tuesday. Charlie Morton got the starting game one for Atlanta giving up no runs on one hit across 2.1 innings of work leaving to a no decision. A.J Minter Came on in relief giving up one run on three hits across 2.2 innings leading to the win.

Offensively Atlanta hit the ball well with twelve hits in 38 at bats as a team including 2-9 with runners in scoring position. Jorge Soler and Adam Duvall led the way for Atlanta with one home run and two rbi's apiece. Freddie Freeman chipped in going 1-3 on the night with one RBI as well.

The Houston Astros struggled immensely in game one against Atlanta with only eight hits in the game including 1-9 with runners in scoring position to leave nine men on base. Carlos Correa and Chad McCormick provided the only life to the Houston lineup driving in one run each.

Framber Valdez got the start for Houston going only two innings, while giving up eight hits and five runs including two home runs leading to the loss. The Houston pitching staff combined to give up one run on four hits over the final seven innings to close the game.

The Atlanta Braves are the hottest team in baseball and will continue that trend in game 2 after a great game 1. Look for Max Fried to bounce back in this game after a lackluster performance in the NLCS to lead the Braves to a game 2 win. Final Score Prediction, Atlanta Braves win 6-3.
