The New York Yankees have split their last ten games and are 16 games above .500 overall. On Memorial Day, Greg Bird came off the disabled list and hit his first home run of the season for New York. Didi Gregorius added two hits for the Yankees, who trail Boston by two games for the AL East Division lead.
