In Saturday afternoon MLB action, the Houston Astros and Baltimore Orioles will continue their weekend series from Camden Yards. Last night, SP Gerrit Cole allowed five hits and one run over six innings to lead Houston to a 2-1 victory. Josh Reddick hit his 17th home run for the Astros, who have clinched the AL West Division and won their 101st game of the season.

2011 MVP and Cy Young Award winner Justin Verlander (16-9 2.60 ERA) will make his final start of the regular season for the Astros. Houston has won each of Verlander’s last four starts and he has allowed four runs total over that stretch.
The Baltimore Orioles have set a franchise record for losses and will be glad for the 2018 regular season to come to a close. On Friday, Adam Jones doubled and drove in the only run for the Orioles. SP David Hess allowed three hits and one run over seven innings for Baltimore, who lost for the 113th time.

Baltimore skipper Buck Showalter will turn to talented righty Dylan Bundy (8-16 5.49 ERA) on Saturday. Through 165 plus innings, Bundy has surrendered an alarming 39 long balls and owns a 1.42 WHIP.

Houston SP Charlie Morton (shoulder) could pitch in the regular season finale on Sunday. Through 159 games, Houston ranks 7th in batting average and 5th in runs scored. For the season, Baltimore ranks 24th in batting average and 27th in runs scored. Take Baltimore to steal the middle game of a meaningless series with the Astros. Final Score Prediction, Baltimore Orioles win at big underdog price 5-3.
