On Saturday, SP Gerrit Cole struck out 12 batters and allowed just one run in seven innings to pitch Houston to a 3-1 victory. Marwin Gonzalez collected four hits and drove in two runs for the Astros, who also received a solo shot from Alex Bregman.

Thirty year old left-hander Dallas Keuchel (12-11 3.74 ERA) will take the mound for the Astros in this matchup. Through 204 plus innings, Keuchel struck out 153 batters and sports a 1.31 WHIP. The Cleveland Indians have managed just three runs through the first two games of this best-of-five series and are hoping to get their offense back on track at Progressive Field. In Game Two, SP Carlos Carrasco gave up two runs over five plus innings and took the loss. Francisco Lindor provided the only offense for Cleveland with his 3rd inning solo home run.

Cleveland skipper Terry Francona will turn to twenty-seven year old righty Mike Clevinger (13-8 3.02 ERA) on Monday. Over his last 11 starts, Clevinger was 6-1 and allowed just 16 runs total.

Cleveland OF Tyler Naquin (hip) was left off the ALDS roster. Through 162 games, Houston ranked 7th in batting average and 6th in runs scored. For the season, Cleveland ranked 2nd in batting average and 3rd in runs scored. The Indians have too much pride to be swept and will get the job done on Monday at home.
