Arizona is 69-80 overall and 30-41 on the road but is 85-64 overall and 43-28 on the road against the run line. Los Angeles is 103-45 overall and 51-19 on the road. Against the run line, the Dodgers are 91-57 overall and 44-26 at home.

Zac Gallen is scheduled to start for the Diamondbacks. The right-hander is 12-3 on the year with a 2.52 ERA over 164 innings. He has given up 108 hits, walked 43 and struck out 167. The Diamondbacks won Gallen’s only start against the Dodgers, 3-1, on April 27, but he did not factor in the decision. Gallen didn’t allow a run while surrendering two hits and two walks with five strikeouts over six innings.

The Dodgers plan to start lefty Julio Urias. He is 17-7 with a 2.27 ERA over 158 2/3 innings. Urias has struck out 152 while allowing 114 hits and 37 walks. Urias allowed just one run over six innings starting opposite Gallen in Arizona on April 27, but he did not earn a decision either. Urias struck out four, walked two and gave up just one hit. That hit, however, was a home run by shortstop Nick Ahmed. Ahmed had shoulder surgery in June and is out for the year.

Arizona hitters have not had much success against Urias, going a collective 14-for-79 against him. Catcher Carson Kelly has had the most success facing Urias with two home runs and three total hits in 12 at bats. Ketel Marte has the most at bats against Urias with 18, but he has just four hits to show for it.

Current Dodgers are just 21-for-113 all-time against Gallen. Mookie Betts, Trea Turner and Chris Taylor have all hit homers off him, though. Betts is 5-for-13 in his career against Gallen, while Turner is 4-for-12.

We don’t expect a high-scoring affair with Gallen and Urias squaring off. UNDER 7.5 is the way to go in this one. Urias has not allowed more than two earned runs in a game. since July 10 and has given up more than one run just twice in those 11 starts. Gallen has been just as stingy as Urias. While he has allowed five earned runs over his last two starts, Gallen had not given up a run in his previous six starts. Final Score Prediction: Los Angeles Dodgers win 3-2.
