Kole Calhoun and David Peralta each homered in the seventh inning for the Diamondbacks, who are 12 games below .500 overall.

The Los Angeles Angels have dropped 14 of their 26 home games and are likely to miss the postseason again. Justin Upton and Max Stassi each went deep in a losing effort for the Angels (20-30).
