Aaron Judge connected on his 14th home run of the season for the Yankees, who trail Boston by two games for the AL East Division lead.
Talented right-hander Masahiro Tanaka (5-2 4.95 ERA) will make his 11th start of the season for the Yankees. New York has won each of Tanaka’s last six starts and he owns a 1.10 WHIP on the year.
