In the first game of a Tuesday doubleheader, the Los Angeles Angels will square off against the Texas Rangers from Globe Life Park. Last night, Los Angeles was unable to protect a two-run lead entering the eighth inning of an 8-7 road loss. Albert Pujols homered and drove in three runs for the Angels, who fell to three games below .500 overall.

Twenty-eight year old lefty Andrew Heaney (2-3 4.76 ERA) will make his 12th start of the season for the Angels.
